Boy have we been busy!
Almost a baby belly shot!!!
...german class, work for Sebas, playing with Anjun, house renovations/projects, Coaching/school for Sebas, cooking, cleaning.... and that's just an average day! whew.
Recently got a little bit more snow and played in it... otherwise spring maybe finally on the way! Check out the horrible plastic bag we have to put over Anjun's stroller when it rains... or snows... poor guy has to look through the little whole in the front.
Last week/weekend was Carnival, a totally German weird holiday that combines Mardi Gras (celebration/meaning), Halloween (costumes/parties) and, of course, beer. Oh, and horrible German music. We pretty much just went to a parade in the next town, and that was enough. Anjun is (maybe thankfully) too young to get into it and people in costume/throwing candy/ floats/loud music was just enough for his first year I think. It was good for me too. Last year I only saw the costumes and drinking in town, now with a parade under my belt I feel I could maybe handle a costume myself next year. We'll see.
Then I've also begun my German/integration course. I really wish I would have paid more attention in my HS German class! For being here a year and a half I feel I should be better, but with having a baby that delayed me a bit. I tested into the fourth semester/module and whoa is it a lot of gramatical stuff. But I need it, and it's helping for sure. Will only do the class through May or so, depending on how this pregnancy goes etc.
Anjun and Sebas watching the Carnival Parade... Anjun is not too sure about all these loud people, all dressed up, throwing things at him and playing horrible music. I don't blame him at all :)
Anjun playing with cousin Jona, they're getting cutter and cutter together... really playing and interacting together.
Otherwise, we're busy but doing good. We have our list of what we want to get done before baby # 2 arrives in June... and I think it's doable. Thankfully we've all stayed healthy and this pregnancy is super easy so far. Fingers crossed it stays that way.
'till next time
