August fun

 Greetings from the Wedding house!

This is what Marlo looks like when I chat with him...

and this is what I look like.

I love it.

he's such a cutie...
The boys playing on the bed... on a hot day.  We had a few hot days that ended up in us all walking around the flat with (the kids) nothing on or (us) just enough clothing so we didn't stick to whatever surface we wanted to sit on.... t.m.i.?  hope not.
Marlo enjoys some time with papa, chatting.  I'm not sure what they're chatting about... but it seems important.  and funny.

Meanwhile we've had some summer fun hanging out with friends and family.  Here's Anjun reading with his cousin Jona.  Anjun looks like he's saying something like 'are you sure?'.  And below my favorite spot in the garden with my baby.  I've even gotten to enjoy it... I think three times.... for 5-15 minutes each.  Mother of small baby and almost two year old does not equal the summer in the hammock I was dreaming of.
 Anjun's first ever hair cut!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Before pic: note the crazy curls on the sides of his head... it was quite out of control on the sides and back, but totally flat and thin on top.  borderline mullet.  something had to be done.

During shots:  in the bath tub.  sebas took marlo, i quickly grabbed the comb and scissors.  had to distract him with something and as fast as possible, silently and without making a big deal cut away.

curls in the sink......

After:  he looks so much older.

I think I'll post a video soon..

Just a few more weeks of "normal" life, then Sebas goes to Canada to complete his final week of his Integral Life Coaching study.  He's busy wrapping everything up and finishing all case write ups...

then...

a week alone with the two boys!

I think I can I think I can I think I can.....

Much love, enjoy your summers while you can!

So far so good....

We've made it through the first 6 weeks of fussiness, ups and downs, my parents coming to visit, keeping up with household and Sebas Coaching work, and the random baby sleep patterns...and we've moved on to smiles, coos, gurgles and somewhat of a rhythm.

wow.

I really feel like a mom!

Anjun is doing well with all the changes, we can tell it's hard on him to take it all in...especially because while he understands pretty much everything we say, he only says a few words... so he can't communicate things clearly. But as you saw from the video (below) he's overall pretty excited with his little brother.

3 generations all at the table for lunch... love this shot of the Wedding men. They joke that we're working on a soccer team with all these boys (we now have two and Philipp and Petra will soon have another boy too).

Marlo at his best... sleeping. Somehow the past few days he's been amazing. Truly. He's awake and mostly happy... feeds, change diaper, maybe feeds again... and then once an hour has passed we sing to him, maybe walk a bit then lay him down and he puts himself to sleep.

alone.

in his bed.

no really! I've been wondering how the heck that happened too. But I gotta say I'm loving it! Oh, and he has a good 5/6 hour chunk of sleep at night, and quickly goes back to bed once I feed him. We're quite spoiled with this one...

Grandma enjoying some walking with Marlo in the evenings....

omg, how could I not fall in love with those two... heart is melting

Perfecting multitasking...

at least I didn't post the pic Sebas took of me breastfeeding, eating breakfast and reading Anjun a book all at the same time!

(but check out the overly messy couch... love it.)

That's all for now...

Hope everyone is enjoying their summer.

Love,

The Weddings

Getting to know each other

oh my cuteness....

as you can see, Anjun is getting acquainted with his little brother, and he's very excited about it.
