baby picture montage!

Here we go!

Anjun waving to his little baby brother, has been doing this from the first moment they met, all day, every day. love it...

Sebastian eating up some baby time...

our apartment has been "babied", complete with birpclothes everywhere...daily baby wash hanging up... and in general slightly messy - it really completes the baby experience.

full body shot, totally relaxed....

little fingers!!!!!!

just after birth in the birthing center, getting his first diaper and outfit for the ride home.

sleeping, what he does best at the moment, besides eating...he's already gained 80 grams.  no idea what that is in US oz... but it sounds good.

Anjun with his little bro. He's now moved on to giving him kisses. But only on his feet/legs, someday we'll make it up to the head!

omg, is that a SMILE! I know, it's just a random muscle twitch, but I'll take it. I think he's happy with his new family.

We're certainly happy with him!

Announcement

Our last days as a family of 3.....

Enjoying a beautiful walk in the woods...

And finally, the arrival of our second child...
 Marlo Finn Wedding

After a day of random and distractable contractions we put Anjun down to bed and I think I finally let myself relax into what was happening. By 7pm strong and consistent contractions, 9pm arrival at birthing center, and Marlo arrived just before midnight!

Enjoying our fist days as a family of four....

My three men... aren't they beautiful?

We weren't sure how Anjun would handle the new baby. Thankfully he's been amazing. They learn so quickly, and he's even helping us with Marlo! We're so grateful the transition is smooth.... so far

Keeping healthy and rested here, thankfully the first days have been relatively easy.

Let's hope it keeps up.

Much love

due date = 16 days away!

Been up to alot... will try to catch you all up :) Celebrated our birthdays (Sebas and I and his twin share the same day). Pretty cool, but interesting to share your birthday - gotta keep everyone happy and none of us want to bake the cake/clean up/etc because it's our birthday... :)
So many cakes. Marzipan strawberry.... blueberry.... ice cream (self made...by me) and a pineapple rhubarb pie with oat and nut toppings.... That's enough for the first party. Then we had leftovers AND two more cakes for party #2 the next day. What a way to celebrate our birthdays.
Baby belly big enough now to support a plate... graduated from the cup pic last time.....
Anjun chillin in the hammock with his red car. He's at a totally cute phase where he has to always hold like at least two things. The more the better. Maybe he'll hand them to you... but you better be prepared to hand them back! I got a totally sweet hammock for my birthday... sweet bright colors, fairly traded, and perfect - can't wait to set it up and lay with anjun and sebas in it :)
And Anjun also randomly decides it's a good time for song and dance. Here Sebas and him are playing at the top of the slide and Anjun decides that they must dance. so he raises his hands and starts swaying back and fourth... and like a good father Sebas sings and grabs his hands to dance with him. so freakin cute.
Bike adventures with Sebas' birthday gift (a sweet new bike) and our bike child trailer. Thank goodness Anjun loves the bike trailer, maybe too much... if we take him out to go on a walk or play he just points at the trailer, as if to say, 'no, that's ok, you and just pull me around some more in this thing please.'
took the bars off of one side of anjun bed... now he can get in and out alone... one of the many things I thought about doing before baby # 2 arrives. He seems to love it... a couple other things: a dishwasher, check! and the sandbox complete, check! making life easier...
the men enjoying trampoline time with the boys... so cute. literally everyone we know is having or just had boys. only boys. crazy.
more spontaneous dancing, this time with cousin Jona - could it get any cuter!?
Sebas and twin bro Philipp surprising Jona, adorable. He loved it and I think the big boys did too.

Yes, just in case you are wondering... that's chocolate ice cream, with chocolate chips, chocolate sauce, and chocolate cookie... and you can't see it but a big piece of chocolate brownie underneath all that.

I'm 8 months preggo people. Gimme a break. It was so tasty.... I want another one.

Otherwise it's been tiresome with Sebas away this week. He's in Canada finishing the week that marks the middle of his final module. He'll be back already Monday - thank goodness. I'm just so very tired! And Anjun had a funky cold/runny nose the beginning of the week that made for a few hard nights. Not what I needed when I should be resting more and taking it easy while Sebas is away.

Do nothing extra is my motto while he's been away. Almost been following it too.

omg, just thought that the next blog might just be the one announcing our next baby. whoa. will try to send out another update before then but we'll see when he wants to arrive.

'till then!
